Clary sage (Salvia sclarea) contains natural phytoestrogens.

Phytoestrogens are secondary plant substances that largely belong to three structural classes:

• the isoflavones
• the lignans
• the Coumestans

Characteristics:

Phytoestrogens have the favourable property that they support the effect of oestrogens in the case of an oestrogen deficiency.  They act similarly to the body's own oestrogens. Therefore, under certain circumstances, they can alleviate the typical menopausal symptoms.

Application:

• nebulise every 3-4 hours for 15 minutes in a diffuser
• rub a drop in the palms of the hands and inhale
• one drop diluted 1:4 with the herbal V-6 Mischöl rub onto the abdomen or lower back

• Wear in an aroma jewellery necklace
