A woman's menopause is much more than hot flushes
But what does that have to do with us men?
.... a lot, I would say! You experience your wife or your life partner in a strenuous uphill and downhill ride and are confronted with new life situations. Understanding for people, respectful interaction and partnership take on new dimensions.
What is climacteric?
Can only women go through the menopause? No! Men can also suffer from hormonal fluctuations
We men also go through a hormonal transition - and one in five men in their mid-50s feels the side effects of the menopause. When hormone levels drop, the lack of testosterone causes hair to thin and muscles to flab.
But usually our wife or life partner challenges us with the body change first!

As husbands or life partners, we are challenged to give the best possible support during this time of change.
